On behalf of Sichuan, those who participated were: Zhang Youbin, head of the Department of International Affairs; Sun Man, vice dean of the department of Spanish and Portuguese and teachers, Tang Sijuan and Wang Tian.
At Blanquerna Foundation the representatives were received by the general director, Dr. Andreu Ibarz, and a meeting was held at our School with the Dean, Dr. Josep Maria Carbonell; the Vice-Dean for Research and Postgraduate studies, Dr. Pere Masip; the director of the degree in International Relations, professor Onno Seroo, professor Antoni Castells; the head of the International Affairs office, Marta Esteller and our representative in Asia, Mei Huang.
The main objective of this agreement is to promote an international program, entitled 3 + 1 + 1, which opens the possibility for Chinese students to finish their studies at our school after three years in China. Once they obtain their degree, issued by their university of origin, they will be admitted on to a master's degree at Blanquerna.
In addition to this, this week, the School is hosting the Summer School with university students from different Chinese universities. Apart from having classes given by different professors from the School, the twenty visiting students will visit media centres such as TV3, Betevé and the Association of Journalists.
