A delegation of the School participated in a four day "Summit on Global Politics, Sports, and Civic Engagement", held in Boston, the second annual summit organized between the two centers.

The second edition of Audiovisual University-Industry Pitching has selected, from among a total of 17, two projects by students of Audiovisual Communication under the framework of Final Degree Project.

At the beginning of October, the Old Factory Damm held the event «NetCom 2016», a traditional meeting of the directors of Catalan communication. With a ceremony at the Llotja de Mar, Universitat Ramon Llull celebrated its 25th anniversary as the first private, social initiative and non-profit university in Spain. The beginning of the new academic year has given way to the reception of the exchange students, who are from the United States, Venezuela, South Korea, The Netherlands, and Belgium, among other countries. They will spend the next semester in the School thanks to the Erasmus+ studies program, funded by the European Union.

The White Room, a short film created by a group of 4th-year students from the Cinema and Television Degree (Audiovisual Communication) during the 3rd year interseminar, has been selected to participate in the Sitges Film Festival «New Authorship category».
