Blanquerna-URL delivers a new series of the Blanquerna-Escola workshops
Blanquerna-URL will deliver the Blanquerna-Escola Workshops on January 25, intended for students in their last year of high school or training cycle, with the aim of giving them an introduction to and overview of the University and information on our degree options. All the workshops will be delivered by our faculty and student ambassadors, who will provide information and guidance to the students attending.

Blanquerna-URL regularly holds Open Days to provide insight into the degrees offered. Open Days are an excellent opportunity for students to visit the campus and facilities, speak to the faculty and explore their career options.

The importance of speech and language therapy
On December 1, a participatory round table discussion was held at the School with students in the 3rd and 4th year of the bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy and health professionals from different Catalan associations. Together, they were able to discuss the topics they have studied throughout the academic year and discover the tools they will need as future speech therapists.

Students, the stars of the Blanquerna campaign
On the mornings of Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30 November, and Thursday 1 December, images for the new Blanquerna-URL institutional campaign were filmed at the three schools.
The main objective is to convey the Blanquerna-URL philosophy and experience. To achieve this, the aim was to show the students and the activities they carry out at the School in a natural way.
In addition, the parallel proposal to share the images that the Blanquerna community takes on a daily basis has also been a success. Over 300 have been received!

The demand for professionals in the digital sector continues to grow
In 2021, more than 24,600 digital job offers were published in Catalonia, according to the Digital Talent Overview 2022 report published by Barcelona Digital Talent. This figure exceeds the demand in 2019. Furthermore, the demand for IT and tech professionals was 43% higher than in 2021.
