Winter School in Journalism and Art & Culture, successfully finished
The very first Blanquerna Winter School 2019 in Journalism and Art & Culture has just finished last week. We've received 13 students from different regions in China. Coordinated by Mei Huang, the program was taught by Judith Colell, Maddalena Fedele, Giorgia Miotto, Joaquin Beltran, Mei Huang, and Daniel Pifarre.

The life of this successsful instagrammer, developed by two students of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication, has won the second Tube d’Assaig 2018. The grant of 5,000 euros in concept of purchase of broadcasting rights, will allow them to develop a second season.

Blanquerna FCRI TFG projects participate in the Pitching Audiovisual University - Industry
Four projects by students of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication of Blanquerna as TFG have been selected among the twenty finalists in the fourth edition of the Pitching Audiovisual University - Industry, in which students from Catalan universities, as well as foreign invited universities, have participated.

During the inauguration ceremony of masters and postgraduate studies, which took place in the Auditorium of Blanquerna FCRI, Dra Mara Einstein, from Queens College, Cuny, in New York, was in charge of addressing an important issue within the field of communication: branded content, media influencers and the perils of covert marketing, all of which is written and explained in her book: “Black Ops Advertising: Native Ads, Content Marketing and the Covert World of the Digital Sell” (OR Books, 2016).

Fifth edition of the Serielizados Fest
This year, the International Festival of Series of Barcelona, the Serielizados Fest, will take place from September 27th to 30th. Most of the activities will be held at the CCCB, but there will also be important events in the Zumzeig room, the Fiu House and the Auditorium of our School.

The general director of Tinkle has visited us
Javier Curtichs, general director of the communication agency Tinkle, visited the School in order to build links that will allow our students to opt for international internships in Miami and Singapore.

Exhibition: "Creators of conscience" at Palau Robert with Sandra Balsells
The Palau Robert and DKV present the exhibition "Creators of conscience. 40 photojournalists committed”, which pays homage to Spanish photographers who risk their lives covering war conflicts, natural disasters or autarchical regimes.

The School receives almost fifty international students this year
This September, 47 students from all over the world have arrived at our School to take the first semester with us through the different mobility programs that we have in active use, such as Erasmus or bilateral agreements.
