An afternoon of film: Caye Casas and Cristina Borobia, the minds behind "La Mesita del Comedor," join the University Master's Degree in Film and Television Fiction.
On Friday, May 24th, the University's Master's Degree in Film and Television Fiction. The departments of Production, Screenwriting, and Directing collaborated to host the final master class featuring Caye Casas and Cristina Borobia. Casas, the director, and Borobia, the co-writer, along with their roles as co-producer and production designer, shared insights into their acclaimed work "La Mesita del Comedor," lauded even by Stephen King himself.
Throughout the session, the acclaimed filmmakers shared insights, exclusive materials, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of their award-winning film. They presented sales pitches, storyboards, and early drafts,
engaging not only Master's Degree students but also undergraduates and alumni from prior cohorts. The enthusiastic audience eagerly posed questions and sought advice for their own Master's theses.
