The PhD program of the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations aims to transfer all those skills and competencies needed by future researchers. The object is for them to achieve a high degree of quality in their research, and carry out solid and competent research activities in the field of Communication and its related disciplines: Social Sciences and Humanities.
The purpose of the program is to train doctoral students so they can take part in international discussions on issues involving communication and culture.
We offer trainee researchers high-quality, intensive training on the study approach to the media and communication industries, by relying on the experience and research work of our lecturers, as well as on the research program at Blanquerna. Future researchers will acquire skills founded on a wide range of qualitative and quantitative social science methodologies while developing critical thinking skills.
Future researchers will benefit from a stimulating intellectual environment, with numerous educational resources and support for the internationalization of their academic career. They will be encouraged to attend centers of excellence, as an aid to the writing their doctoral thesis or post-doctoral project.
