Physiotherapy, as a key discipline in the treatment of musculoskeletal and pelvic conditions, constantly seeks technological and methodological innovations to enhance patients' clinical outcomes. In this context, shock waves and radiofrequency have proven to be promising technologies, offering significant benefits in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions, including pain reduction, improved blood flow, and the promotion of tissue regeneration processes. Despite these advantages, the effectiveness of these therapies largely depends on a proper understanding of their scientific foundations and precise, safe application.

Currently, there is little specific training on the use of these two techniques applied to the pelvic floor within the field of physiotherapy, which can lead to underutilization of these tools or inappropriate application that reduces their potential benefits for patients.

Who is it aimed at?

Graduates in Physiotherapy and 4th year students of the bachelor's degree.
