Gastrointestinal and liver diseases

The Gastrointestinal and liver diseases course is part of the Advanced Clinical Nutrition Expert Course. This module deals with the pathologies and clinical situations presenting in the clinical practice of the DN and reviews the most relevant scientific evidence on this subject.
The contents of this course include the nutritional approach to the most common gastrointestinal and hepatic pathologies in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

It is aimed at graduates, diploma holders or 4th year students of Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

Objectives

Lay the foundations on what are the dietary-nutritional guidelines to be recommended in the different gastrointestinal and liver diseases affecting the population, in relation to what the current scientific evidence shows.

Work and develop case studies in order to design and recommend the most suitable dietary strategies to implement in each case.

Graduates, diploma holders or 4th year students of the Undergraduate Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
