According to the World Health Organization, gender equality consists of equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities for everyone. It is a necessary pillar to achieve a sustainable, peaceful, prosperous, healthy world that leaves no one without care. It is a fundamental human right established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and is essential for achieving all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Objectives
Global objective: To provide an updated theoretical and methodological framework for the effective integration of the gender perspective in the fields of public health, healthcare, teaching and research.
Specific objectives:
Develop professional skills for equitable healthcare, free from stereotypes and sensitive to gender diversity.
Promote institutional policies and practices that guarantee equal opportunities and justice in health from an intersectional perspective.
Who is it aimed at?
Graduates in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics. 3rd and 4th year students from these degree courses.

Certificate of attendance
Course participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Attendance to 80% or more of the sessions is required to obtain it.

The chapel is the right place to find recollection, peace, to focus, to pray and to celebrate the Eucharist weekly and at important liturgical moments (Christmas, Ash Wednesday and Easter). The sacrament of reconciliation is also celebrated.
