Myofascial pain syndrome is an extraordinarily common condition, being the main cause of muscle pain in the population, with prevalence ranging between 45% and 100%.

The dry needling of myofascial trigger points, which cause myofascial pain syndrome, given its specificity and its risks of application, requires highly specialized training.

The latest evidence concludes its high effectiveness in managing pain of myofascial origin, as well as its great cost-benefit ratio.

Who is it aimed at?

Graduates in Physiotherapy and 4th year students of the bachelor's degree.

Course content

For each of the muscles studied, we will work on different aspects:

  • Invasive treatment: Puncture using acupuncture needles at the trigger point, following a pre-established treatment protocol.
