Blanquerna School of Health Sciences
Dermatofunctional physiotherapy combines science, aesthetics and functionality. Winback offers an advanced tool thanks to its multi-frequency TECAR technology, dual channel and CARE+ module, allowing a complete and effective approach. This training is designed to be immediate, applicable and rigorous.
Objectives
Apply protocols for cellulite, sagging, fluid retention and scars.
Use dual channel and CARE+.
Integrate complementary modes and currents: Hi-TENS and Hi-EMS.
Use the RET bracelet as an active tool and in combination with manual therapy.
Who is it aimed at?
Graduates in Nursing and Physiotherapy and 4th year students of the bachelor degrees in Nursing and Physiotherapy.
Course content
- Fundamentals of TECAR therapy (1h): history, electrical principles (capacitive, resistive, multi-frequency), dual channel, and clinical safety.
- Complementary currents (1h): Hi-TENS (superficial analgesia and vascularization), Hi-EMS (tonification and drainage), combinations with RET and MIX.
- Dermatofunctional principles (2h): physiology of cutaneous and subcutaneous tissue, types of cellulite, flaccidity, fibrosis, tissue assessment, personalized parameters.
- Facial treatments (2h): use of multi-polar electrodes and Hi-RET for wrinkles, bags, double chin, sagging, acne/scars.
- Body treatments (2h): protocols for cellulite (fibrous, edematous, adipose), abdominal flaccidity, arm and thigh firming.
- CARE+ and RET bracelet (2h): Hands-free and active application in large areas, combination with drainage, active exercises and manual techniques.
- Integrated sessions (2h): supervised free practice, design of complete treatments, therapeutic reasoning.

Tuition fee

Certificate of attendance
Course participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Attendance to 80% or more of the sessions is required to obtain it.

If you need a quiet space to study or to do individual and group work, come to the library! Each school has its own library with computers, workrooms, reading points and an extensive catalog of documents you can consult in both hard copy and digital format.
Computer rooms

Chapel
The chapel is the right place to find recollection, peace, to focus, to pray and to celebrate the Eucharist weekly and at important liturgical moments (Christmas, Ash Wednesday and Easter). The sacrament of reconciliation is also celebrated.
