The students commencing the new course were welcomed by Blanquerna FCRI authorities in a presentation event that took place in the School Auditorium.

The alumnus Gerard Olivé has received the Extraordinary Professional Trajectory Prize from the College of Advertising and Public Relations of Catalonia, which is given each year in the “Antigua Fábrica Damm” coinciding with the delivery of the Impact awards.

Professor of the Specialization Diploma in Corporate Communication and Religion in the Digital Age, Dr. Leticia Soberón, has been chosen to be a member of the Secretary for Vatican Communication, which up until now has been comprised of by 14 cardinals and archbishops. Professor Soberón and Kim Daniels, advisor of the American Episcopal Conference, will now join them.

Our School participated in the most important event of fashion in Barcelona: the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. Seventeen students of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and the Degree in Journalism and Corporate Communication collaborated with the 080 TV Channel.

The Professors of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication Judith Colell and Carla Subirana have worked together with Isabel Coixet, Isaki Lacuesta and Miguel Bosch, on a programme promoted by the City Council of Barcelona to fight against homophobic discrimination.

The professor and writer Rafael Vallbona, with his novel "Tros", has won the XXV Ferran Canyameres Prize for crime thriller and mystery novel, given by Omnium Cultural Terrassa. The novel will published by Pagès Editors later this year.

The Master's Degree in Fiction in Film and Television closed its XII edition with a lecture given by the creator of the successful TVE series.

The graduation of the 19th class of students of Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations took place at the Santa Maria del Mar basilica.

Twenty students of the seminar in strategy of the Degree in Advertising and Public Relations and International Master MA-Strategic Management in Global Communication participated in the XIV Symposium «Building Global Communication Networks for a Cause», co-organized by the School, the Zayed University and 14 universities more.
