«Tube d’Assaig» starts a new season
This BTV program offers a platform to young creators, which airs, every month, the pilot of a series of fiction or nonfiction media created by students in Catalan universities.
«Grandes Malabaristas» project wins a grant in Colombia
Tatiana Londoño and Daniel Gómez Restrepo, former students of the Master’s Degree in Film and Television Fiction. Production, Screenwriting and Filming, have won the Stories Regional Fund for Film Development in Colombia, in the «fiction short film» category.
MedMedia project in Israel
The School’s dean, Dr. Josep Maria Carbonell, and Dr. Jaume Suau, professor of the School, have visited Tel Aviv in order to organize a conference under the project MedMedia, in which the School is involved.
Erasmus+ students visit the Catalan Parliament
The beginning of the new academic year has given way to the reception of the exchange students, who are from the United States, Venezuela, South Korea, The Netherlands, and Belgium, among other countries. They will spend the next semester in the School thanks to the Erasmus+ studies program, funded by the European Union.

The White Room, a short film created by a group of 4th-year students from the Cinema and Television Degree (Audiovisual Communication) during the 3rd year interseminar, has been selected to participate in the Sitges Film Festival «New Authorship category».

The alumnus Gerard Olivé has received the Extraordinary Professional Trajectory Prize from the College of Advertising and Public Relations of Catalonia, which is given each year in the “Antigua Fábrica Damm” coinciding with the delivery of the Impact awards.
Professor, chosen member of Vatican Communication Secretary
Professor of the Specialization Diploma in Corporate Communication and Religion in the Digital Age, Dr. Leticia Soberón, has been chosen to be a member of the Secretary for Vatican Communication, which up until now has been comprised of by 14 cardinals and archbishops. Professor Soberón and Kim Daniels, advisor of the American Episcopal Conference, will now join them.
Journalism and Audiovisual students participate in 080 Barcelona Fashion
Our School participated in the most important event of fashion in Barcelona: the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. Seventeen students of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and the Degree in Journalism and Corporate Communication collaborated with the 080 TV Channel.
