In the framework of the Blanquerna Conferences, the university management team will award journalist and screenwriter, David Simon, the Special Blanquerna Communication Award, in recognition of "his contribution to the renewal of television fiction and the audiovisual language."

The following days 28th January and 31st March 2016, Blanquerna-URL, together with La Salle-URL, organizes the 4th University Orientation Session under the title “How to choose university studies in the XXI century: how to orientate your children”.

Students in the second year of the Degree in International Relations participated in a mock session of the Permanent Court of Arbitration on Migration in the Mediterranean.

Two students studying for a degree in International Relations, Laia Segura and Judit Galí, participated - within the framework of their professional internships - in the United Nations Climate Change Conferences, which were held this month in Paris.

We have had with us the specialist in Human Rights Laurence Kwark, as visiting professor for the students of the Learning Unit on Human Rights, taught by Professor Farid Benavides within the Degree in International Relations.

The webseries «Mediocrity», that came out of a Final Degree Project of students studying the degree in Film and Television, received the audience award at the II Showcase «Pilotos de Ficción», organized by Serielizados and the Festival Zoom of Igualada.
