The International Conference on Communication and Reality is the biannual meeting of the international scientific community, held at Blanquerna School of Communications and International Relations, aimed at presenting the latest research in the field of communication. It is an innovative conference, a dynamic and creative exchange of ideas, experiences and opinions, oriented towards a critical approach to the research conducted in the field.
So far, six editions of the Conference have been organised since 2001, involving more than a thousand participants, including experts, researchers and research groups, professionals and media scholars from five continents. In these editions has been discussed, among others, issues related to the development of economic activities in the media, the emergence of new media and violence in the media.
