Teaching. Assessment of the teaching activity

Performance of their teaching activity is an essential element in assessing how the quality of the faculty is guaranteed. Thus, learning the method used by the faculty to plan, develop, assess, and improve their teaching is key to determining their teaching competence.

Support Program for the Assessment of the University Faculty's Teaching Activity

To promote this assessment of the teaching activity, the National Agency for Quality assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) has launched the Support Program for the Assessment of the University Faculty's Teaching Activity (DOCENTIA), aimed at supporting universities in the design of their own mechanisms to manage the quality of the university faculty's teaching activity and to encourage their development and recognition.
The program is developed in close coordination with the Agency for the Quality of the University System of Catalonia (AQU).
