Blanquerna-URL opens admission applications for the 2027-28 academic year

October 28, 2026

Blanquerna-URL opens the application period for admission to its bachelor’s degrees for the 2027-28 academic year.

Blanquerna-URL has already opened applications for admission to all its bachelor’s degrees for the 2027-28 academic year. Key new features of this admissions cycle include the new bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Governance, the updated curricula for the bachelor’s degrees in communication, and the second cohort starting the bachelor’s degree in Medicine at Blanquerna.

Prospective students can now register for the Open Days taking place in the coming weeks and months. You can check the calendar and register in the Open Days section of the website.

Students who enroll early will be eligible for a 5% discount on tuition for most bachelor’s degrees. You can check the conditions in the Discounts for Blanquerna degrees section.

One of the main new features is the launch of the first bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs & Governance in Spain, the first undergraduate degree of its kind in the country, which will be taught entirely in English. Unlike traditional political science programs focused on state theory or party politics, the degree is directly geared toward applied training in the design, negotiation (lobbying), implementation, and evaluation of public policy.

The Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations is renewing the curricula of four bachelor’s degrees to adapt them to the new needs and challenges of society and the professional world, incorporating new specialization tracks.

The bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Corporate Communication offers specialization tracks in Sports Journalism, Communication Management, and New Formats and Social Media; the bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communications, tracks in Fiction and Entertainment, and Interactive Audiovisual; and the bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing, tracks in Creativity and Innovation, Brand Strategy and Marketing Intelligence, and Public Relations and Event Management. Meanwhile, the bachelor’s degree in Global Communication for Business Management has been renamed and redesigned, with three specialization tracks: Business & Leadership in Global Communication, International Relations, and Business and Marketing.

At the School of Health Sciences, Physiotherapy introduces a new curriculum, and enrollment is now open for the second cohort of Medicine students. These programs will hold Open Days of their own, with the first one taking place on Thursday, November 26, at 6:00 p.m.

As for the School of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences, highlights include the consolidation of the international track for the bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and the addition of the Social Work and Social Education programs
