Sanchís (Valencia, 1961), winner of the Joan Fuster (2009) and Carles Rahola (2012) essay awards, completed his doctorate at our School last year with the thesis "Els assassins d'El Capitán Trueno. La censura de les publicacions infantils i juvenils durant el franquisme. Estudi de l'evolució del marc legal i del seu impacte en els continguts publicats (1936-1982)”.
Before accepting this new position, Sanchis was deputy director of the digital El Món and collaborated as commentator for the show "Els Matins" on TV3 and on the radio show "El món a RAC1". The professor is also the author of several books, such as "L'ombra del poder" (1999), "Franco contra Flash Gordon" (2009), "Tebeos mutilados. La censura franquista contra Editorial Bruguera» (2010), "Adéu Espanya, adéu Catalunya" (2010) and "Valencians, encara" (2012).
