The aim of the SIENHA project is to promote healthy ageing among European countries through the development of competencies of health and social care professionals in order to: understand healthy ageing as a lifelong process, which requires greater attention at all stages; foster the development of competencies of students, teachers and professionals; promote the exchange of knowledge and learn from best practices in higher education; and increase the involvement of citizens in personal health care and healthy ageing.

The Blanquerna-URL professors who also participate in the project are: Jordi Vilaró, Mercè Sitjà, Alesander Badiola, Míriam Rodríguez, Olga Bruna, Miquel Àngel Prats and Jordi Riera.
