Two short films by Blanquerna students, finalists in Sitges
This year, the New Auteurs section of the Sitges Festival has chosen as finalists two short films made by students of the School of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna.
The films selected are Clara by Alexia Verdaguer and Bet Miquel, made in the workshop of experimental Film Professor Nuria Olivé, and Dinosaurs by Amanda Gómez and Joaquim Barceló, as a project of the Documentary seminar of Professor Oriol Gispert.
The screening will take place this Saturday, October 4th, at 14:15 hours in the Prado Cinema. Eleven finalists compete for the three prizes of this section, reserved for the best work of the film schools of Catalonia: Best Direction / Production, Best Screenplay and Best Original Music.
Blanquerna is the only School in Catalonia that has two students as finalists for the New Auteurs section.
