The sponsors of the 2021-2022 graduations were Dr. David Bueno (bachelor's degrees in Education) and the former professor of the School, Rafael Nebot (bachelor's degree in Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Sports Management and SES).

This great celebration for our School featured speeches by students who represented each degree, the nomination of the best academic records, a concert by students of the Education music mention and even a figure-skating performance.

Following the speeches, the scholarship award ceremony began, a symbolic gesture making the graduation official. Afterwards, Dr. Jordi Riera, together with the management of each bachelor's degree —Carol Palma (Psychology), Ledicia Iglesias (Speech and Language Therapy Coordinator), Sixte Abadia (Sports Management) and Marta Moragas (SES) - named the best academic records, awarding the corresponding plaques:

  • Miriam Provenzano, best record in Psychology in the class of 2022

At this point in the ceremony, the School had reserved a small surprise for the students. A number of representatives of the previous graduation class took to the stage, symbolically carrying a lantern to pass the baton on and welcome their new colleagues in the profession. Laia Vilàs, David Monfort, Carolina Siles and Andreïna Escalona were the alumni responsible for congratulating and encouraging to the newly graduated Blanquerna class.

The closing of the events treated attendees two performances by graduation students. Firstly, in the morning, a group of students from the Primary School music mention —Rafa Gómez, Jordi Papiol, Anna Molina, Mercè Martí, Joana Ponce, Ainara Palacios, Bet Carrigó and Paula Jiménez, directed by Anna Canyellas— accopmanied the graduation with a concert of parts of mythical songs related to the leaving ceremony. Later, in the afternoon, the student Anna Rabassa performed a choreography on skates, proving to be one of the most touching moments of the ceremony.

Lastly, the president of the Blanquerna Foundation, Dr. Salvador Pié, brought the event to a close with a few words, and all attendees stood up to sing the university's alma mater hymn Gaudeamus Igitur.

This edition of graduations featured a series of highly emotional moments, shared with the whole university community and families, and which served to bring one chapter to a close and start a new one: entry into the professional world or specialization, for those continuing their studies.
