Ramon Llull University remains, for the seventh consecutive year, in the top group of universities with the best teaching performance in Spain, thus consolidating its position as the leading university in Catalonia for teaching. URL ranked above the Spanish average in 8 of the 10 indicators analyzed, including the percentage of international students and the percentage of students participating in international mobility programs. In terms of employability, URL also achieved an outstanding result, ranking as the third university in Catalonia.

The QS World University Ranking by Subject 2023 has once again listed Ramon Llull University (URL) among the best universities in the world in the areas of Business & Management, Hospitality & Leisure Management, and Psychology.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Public Relations, and Marketing at Blanquerna-URL has been recognized as the best in Catalonia and the second best in Spain in the latest edition of the "El Mundo 50 Carreras" ranking, one of the leading university rankings in the country. The Bachelor’s Degree in Social Education and the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work—offered by Pere Tarrés-URL in collaboration with Blanquerna-URL—also secured top positions at both the national and regional levels.

URL has achieved highly notable positions in Psychology, ranking 3rd in Catalonia and 6th in Spain. URL’s Politics & International Studies programs have also been included in the QS ranking, reaching 3rd place in Catalonia and ranking in the 301–400 range.

Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) has been ranked in the 801–1,000 range worldwide in the World University Rankings by Times Higher Education (THE). The University also ranks 8th in Spain and 5th within the Catalan university system. It stands out in the international outlook dimension, ranking 3rd in Spain with a score of 73.7 out of 100.

URL is ranked in the fields of Business Administration —151–200 worldwide and 3rd in Spain—, Management —151–200 worldwide and 1st in Spain—, Public Administration —101–150 worldwide and 2nd in Spain—, and Psychology —401–500 worldwide—.

In the QS World University Ranking by Subject the Psychology courses taught by the School of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences are ranked 9th in Spain and in the 301-330 range globally. For its part, the URL's Business Administration and Management course, taught at IQS-URL, La Salle-URL and Esade-URL, maintains its 1st position in Spain and is ranked 17th worldwide. And Tourism and Hotel Management, taught by IQS-URL, is again ranked 2nd in Spain and in the 51-100 range worldwide.
As well as disciplines, the ranking also lists areas of knowledge. In the field of Social Sciences and Management, the URL is in 6th position in Spain and 100th in the world, out of a total of 530 institutions listed. Bachelor degrees related to Management at Blanquerna-URL include Global Communication Management (School of Communication and International Relations) and the Bachelor Degree in Sports Management (School of Psychology, Education Sciences and Sport).
The QS World University Ranking by Subject is one of the most prestigious international university rankings and this year's report has measured the educational quality of more than 1,594 educational institutions around the world in 54 disciplines. The ranking uses four criteria to draw up the classifications:
- The results of over 150,000 responses to a survey of universities' reputations among academics worldwide.
- 99,000 responses from another reputation survey among employers.
- The number of citations in scientific publications over a five-year period.
- The H Index, which is based on the most cited publications and the number of citations they have received in other scientific articles.
Depending on the subject, the ranking gives a different weight to each of these four indicators.
