The Alumna Yennifer Uribe, at the Clermond Ferrand Film Festival

Uribe's original script, «As the first time» shows the life of Rosa, a woman who lives with her husband and son in Medellín, Colombia, in apparent tranquility. Rosa does not realize that something just does not fit in her life until she meets Dalia, the owner of a beauty salon, with whom she falls in love.

This year, Colombia has been chosen as the country of honor in the 39th edition of this festival, one of the samples with the greatest international projection in its field.

Currently, Uribe is a lecturer in the Communication and Audiovisual Languages ​​Programme at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Medellín. At the end of last year, «Like the first time» was selected in the category «Latin America in perspective» of the International Film Festival of La Havana.
