Here you will find all the information you need to gain admission into the Bachelor’s degrees offered by the Faculty. Click on any of the menu options below to see admission information for the Bachelor’s degrees offered by the Faculty.
The application process for 2020-2021 begins on October 29th, 2019.
Applicants who have not conditionally enrolled may check the results of the admission process at www.blanquerna.edu at the end of the pre-enrolment period, on July the 5th 2019 at 12h.
The process of applying for admission has two stages:
a. Enrol in accordance with the qualification necessary for university entrance (selectivity, CFGS, etc.). The applicant can formalise this once the Blanquerna’s specific entrance test has been passed and he/she is admitted on the degree course. This enrolment format ensures a place and allows the Student to choose between morning or evening schedules, if both options are available, while places are available (See the specific conditions below).
b. Enrol definitively if in possession of the qualification (selectivity, CFGS, etc.). As in the previous case, once admitted on a degree course specific places and study programmes (morning, evening) are applied for then. (See the conditions below.)
Note: for degree programmes offering more than one timetable format preference will depend on the order of conditioned enrolment and those who formalise their enrolment in July, if there is still the option of choosing, must keep in mind that priority is based on the order of pre-enrolment.Note: for degree programmes offering more than one timetable format preference will depend on the order of conditioned enrolment and those who formalise their enrolment in July, if there is still the option of choosing, must keep in mind that priority is based on the order of pre-enrolment.

Students who belong to a European Union country or are resident in Spain, and come from European educational Systems which have no recognised agreement with Spain, should contact the Student Information and Guidance Service.
The Blanquerna-URL Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences has its own entrance examinations suited to the degrees it offers which are held throughout the pre-enrolment period. The date of this examination is assigned when formalising the pre-enrolment and is recorded on the corresponding receipt. Applicants who pass the entrance examinations may apply for conditional enrolment if they pass the Selectivitat or the Advanced Training Cycle.
The criteria that will be taken into account when admitting students to any programme in the Faculty will be this test combined with the marks on the common part of the university entrance examinations or previous studies (Advanced Training Cycle or other), and the marks of the specific examinations will not be taken into account.
This year's entrance tests consist of the following instruments:
The mark to be taken into account to access any study programme in the faculty will be that of the test combined with the general university entrance test (PAU) or entrance study programmes (CFGS or others) and specific tests will be disregarded:
These assessment criteria are not exclusionary for admission.
The overall mark earned by the candidate is the sum of the points earned in the previous section.
Given the theoretical-practical nature of the degree programmes in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, the Evaluation Committee may change the protocol of the physical examinations should the candidates certify that they have a disability and request an adaptation.
As stated in the laws currently in force, to gain admission to the Faculty and to the degree programme in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences in particular, candidates who are duly accredited as high-level athletes (who appear in the lists drawn up by the Consejo Superior de Deportes [Higher Sports Council, CSD] and published in the BOE) and high-performance athletes (certified by the CSD upon request from the corresponding federations) are exempted from the physical tests.
To gain admission to the degrees in Teacher Training for Preschool Education and Teacher Training for Primary Education in both public and private universities within the Catalan university system, a personal aptitude test must be passed. These tests are handled by the Department of Economy and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Information on these tests can be found at the following link.
Payment of the course is made by interest-free instalments. After enrolling, students will have two working days to pay 50% of the total cost of the credits they intend to study using the payment system they select, which will not be direct debit. The remaining 50% will be split into 9 monthly payments, due from October to June, which will be paid by direct debit. Bank details must be entered when students enroll. The prices will be updated each academic year.
Enrollment conditions stipulate that fees paid cannot be refunded for any reason.
1. A teaching services contract between the student and the Fundació Blanquerna is entered into on acceptance of the clauses contained in the enrollment form. The contract is subject to the payment agreed, compliance with university access regulations (Organic law 2/2006), and Fundació Blanquerna’s own regulations.
2. Point 2.2 of the general enrollment conditions stipulates that no refund can be made if the university place is not taken up.
3. Students shall accept IT services’ rules of use established by the Fundació Blanquerna.
4. Students’ personal details will be treated according to the standards stipulated in current legislation and the enrollment conditions.
Note: This note is merely a summary of the general enrollment conditions and thus has no contractual value. In case of any discrepancy, observe the “General Enrollment Conditions" stipulated in the receipt generated when enrolling, which serves as a contract between students and the Fundació Blanquerna and which students can consult at any time on the intranet at http://scala.blanquerna.edu.
Those who pre-enrol and pass the entrance tests may apply for a conditioned enrolment based on passing “selectividad” or CFGS. In the case of the School of Psychology, Education and Sports Sciences, the entrance examination must be passed before 28 May 2020.
At the time of enrollment the student can choose the timetable of classes in degrees that have two options, while there are places available. The criterion used to arrange an appointment for the admitted students in the two periods of enrollment (conditioned and final) is the order of pre-enrollment. It is necessary to take into account, therefore, that in the period of enrollment (the conditioned enrolment) a timetable can be filled. The place will be definitive if the Student provides the documents and the entrance details to University, “Selectividad” or CFGS, and formally enrols in July.
Payment conditions are the same as definitive enrolment, so 50% of the overall fees must be paid. If the Student doesn’t pass “Selectividad” or CFGS, the enrolment money will be returned and he / she will lose the place. If there are vacancies, there is the possibility of going on a waiting list and the money will be withheld, but there will no priority of choice of morning or afternoon timetable.
