Graduation ceremony of Blanquerna FCRI

The graduation of the 19th class of students of Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations took place at the Santa Maria del Mar basilica.

“Be responsible citizens, demanding, abiding, generous, tolerant, live with passion. It is said that young people are the future leaders, but I am convinced that within each one of you is a leader of the present".

Such was said in the speech given by the patroness of the 19th class of Communication and International Relations, Cristina Gallach, General Secretary of the United Nations for Communication and Public Information.

Gallach spoke during the graduation ceremony this year, in which more than 2,000 people —in addition to the 308 students who finished their degree – gathered in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona to hear the speeches of four students representing each degree –Roger Pallarès for International Relations, Irene Martinez for Film and Television, Andrea Domenech for Journalism and Tatiana López for Advertising and Public Relations – and two versions of Sopa de Cabra and Nina Simone; in addition to the speeches of the presidentof Fundació Blanquerna, Salvador Pié-Ninot, the Dean of the School, Josep Maria Carbonell, and the director of the Degree in International Relations, Onno Seroo.

At the end of the event the video of the 19th class of students was shown (made by students of the fourth year) and diplomas were handed to the students with the best academic record: Maria Girona, Ariadna Pozo, Alba Ribó, Roger Pallarès.
