II Symposium on "Collective Memory in the media”

Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations (Valldonzella, 12) will hold the II Symposium on "Collective Memory in the Media" on Thursday, 2 October at 9:00 in the School’s auditorium.

The program is composed of three blocks.

  • The first will be presented and moderated by Professor Ferran Sáez, director of the Research Group on Communication, Public Opinion and Historical Memory of the URL. Other participants are Professor Agustí Colomines of the University of Barcelona; the director of the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, Laura Borràs; and the director of the Born Cultural Center, Quim Torra.
  • At 11:00, professor Francesc Canosa will present and moderate the second block: "Journalism, documentary and forgetfulness." On the panel, there will be journalist and writer Genis Sinca; the editor of the daily newspaper Ara, Carles Capdevila; and director, producer and screenwriter, Felip Solé.
  • At 12:30, Professor Elena Yeste will be responsible for the third block, moderating a panel with musicologist, poet and essayist, Ramón Andrés; and the professor of our School, Jaume Radigales, and Ferran Saez.

The event is open to the general public.
