Admission of international students (Latin America)
If you come from a country outside Europe, you can access our programs by officially recognizing (homologating) your high school diploma in Spain.
You can start your studies while this process is underway, although you will need to submit the final resolution later.
Important: this process can take several months, so we recommend that you start it as soon as possible.
Student visa
Once you are admitted, you must apply for your student visa at the Spanish consulate in your country.
If your stay is longer than 6 months, you must apply for your Foreigner Identity Card (TIE) upon arriving in Spain.
Language requirements
For programs in English, you will need a minimum B2 level, which you can prove with certifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge.
Minimum requirements to enroll in our schools:
Students must apply to the National University of Distance Education (UNED) for the credential proving that they meet the requirements to access university studies in their educational system (UNED Credential). Therefore, they do not need to take the PAU (University Access Exam), but without the aforementioned credential they cannot enroll in our bachelor's degrees.
The educational systems that can access our programs via this route are: Germany, Andorra, Austria, European Schools (European Baccalaureate), International Baccalaureate, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, China, and Cyprus.
These students can access our bachelor's degrees by presenting the official recognition (homologación) of their high school diploma from the Spanish Ministry of Education or from the autonomous communities that have been granted this competence, such as the Generalitat of Catalonia. It is possible to enroll and pursue the degree with just the application for official recognition, but enrollment will be conditional on the delivery of the final official recognition. Note that the official recognition of studies can take more than three months to become effective, so this procedure must be carried out simultaneously with the admission process to our bachelor's degrees. If the resolution of the official recognition is not issued under the terms requested by the applicant, the results of any exams taken or previous enrollments will become void.
