NEXUS BQN Methodology
Learn today how you’ll work tomorrow
What is the NEXUS methodology?
The NEXUS BQN methodology completely transforms the way you learn at university. Students work on real or simulated situations that directly connect the knowledge and competencies they need to master with their studies and the real professional and social challenges of today’s world. This learning methodology is based on a deceptively simple yet profoundly complex idea: you learn best when knowledge is built in relation to other disciplines, in authentic contexts, and through meaningful challenges, connecting everything and giving it deep, integrated meaning.

Which six learning strategies does it include?
01
BQN15 Seminars
Personalized learning in small groups
02
Professional Simulations
Training in real situations with professional actors and experts
03
Service Learning
Projects and learning situations that create real impact on society.
04
Transversal Days
Shared spaces between different university degrees and fields of knowledge that connect teaching, research, and students
05
Inter-course Challenges
Shared learning situations between students from different years of the same degree.
06
Inter-School Activities
Common dynamics and proposals involving students from all three Blanquerna schools.
The NEXUS BQN methodology is fully aligned with the Future of Jobs Report 2025 of the World Economic Forum, which identifies these competencies as essential for professionals in 2030.
With NEXUS BQN, going to university stops being simply about acquiring knowledge. It becomes a real, immersive experience of comprehensive personal and professional development.
