The FCRI Blanquerna-URL maintains collaboration agreements with various companies, foundations, universities, and entities related to research in the fields of journalistic and corporate communication, audiovisual and advertising, public relations, and communication offices, as well as in the field of international relations. These agreements include networked research projects that include research groups linked to the FCRIB-URL doctoral program in communication. In other cases, the program encourages that, as part of their doctoral training, doctoral candidates be trained in research skills by participating in projects shared by research groups.
In addition, by participating in shared research projects, it is facilitated for doctoral candidates to develop their professional careers as researchers, either by integrating into these entities or by collaborating in some of their projects.

The FCRIB has an institutional action plan aimed at facilitating the employment of students. These actions are included in the SIGC, mainly to the process of management of professional guidance to students and are conveyed, essentially, from the Vice-Dean of Business and Innovation through, among other services, Careers / Job Bank and the service Alumni. These services manage the relationships, the demands of companies interested in hiring Alumni for our degrees, as well as third-cycle degrees and specializations. In this sense, the Faculty offers graduates and students a space to enter the labor market.
