The Blanquerna Observatory of Communication, Religion and Culture and the Department of Justice of the Generalitat de Catalunya are organizing the presentation of the Chair of Religious Freedom and Conscience of Catalonia on 15 September at 11am.
Yvonne Griley i Martínez, Director General of Religious Affairs, will speak; Josep Maria Carbonell, Dean of the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations and Miriam Diez Bosch, Director of the Chair of Religious Freedom and Conscience.
The team of the Chair will present the analysis that it is elaborating on the situation and conditions of the exercise of the religious freedom and of conscience in Catalonia and the good practices existent in the promotion of this fundamental right. In addition, it will share the next actions planned, such as training in data verification on religious freedom for journalists or the 1st Prize for Final Degree, Master's and Doctoral Theses on religious freedom.
During the meeting, the first Congress on Religious Freedom and Conscience of Catalonia will also be announced, which will take place on June 2 and 3, 2022.
