Degree Program

The Master is structured in 6 modules. The first analyzes public relations research in order to provide relevant information about strategic decision making. The second module deals with the professional strategic model and all the skills, techniques, languages, elements and instruments to be able to operate effectively in the field of communication. The third module provides the keys to keep abreast of any vector of the environment that conditions or stimulates the opportunity and creativity of the discipline. The fourth module provides the fundamental tools of one of the most current and complex public relations specializations. Finally, a synthesis work of the Master and a professional experience is proposed.

Module 1. Research and fundamentals (10 ECTS)

  • Analysis and segmentation of audiences. Public, stakeholders and strategic audiences.
  • Control, evaluation, measurement and indicators in public relations.
  • Proactive management d'Issues Management, investigation of futures.

Module 2. Public Relations Department (10 ECTS)

  • Corporate identity, image and reputation and creed management and support for corporate branding.
  • Model of strategic planning in public relations.
  • Creativity, narratives and languages ​​in public relations.
  • Management skills in communication.
  • Economic-financial and legal management of public relations plans.

Module 3. Innovation, internationalization, digitalization and sustainability in public relations (10 ECTS)

  • Current trends and competitiveness of public relations.
  • Transition and digital evolution of public relations (digital PR, social media)
  • Social intelligence: psychosociology and neuroscience, IoT & Artificial intelligence and big data.
  • International public relations and public diplomacy.
  • Communication of corporate social responsibility and business ethics.

Module 4. Institutional relations (10 ECTS)

  • Public diplomacy Public Affairs and Advocacy. Lobbying and Think Tanks.
  • Transparency: Law & Compliance.
  • Communication management in situations of vulnerability, risk and crisis.

Module 5. Master thesis (10 ECTS)
