Comprehensive assessment and approach of people with chronic injuries
Chronic injuries include a wide range of addiction-related injuries, lower extremity ulcers, or diabetic foot injuries, which can lead to serious health and quality of life complications, significantly increasing the risk of mortality.
Increasing the training of nursing professionals involved in their care is justified and is of great relevance for the high incidence or morbidity and mortality of chronic injuries.
Provide knowledge and advice to nursing professionals on the most appropriate interventions for wound care and promote the correct use of different materials for care and optimize existing resources.
This course aimed at caring for people with chronic injuries aims to incorporate the best scientific evidence and technical skills available, ensuring the evaluation of the whole process, both in terms of effectiveness in resolution and associated preventive activities.
Encourage the correct use of clinical language in relation to wounds
Know the different treatments for a correct approach according to the TIME Concept
Establish a differential diagnosis of lower extremity pathologies
